Available for both iOS and Android, the OfficeTools mobile app leverages AbacusNext’s cloud expertise to provide anywhere, anytime access to essential firm data—right from the palm of your hand. The app will function as a companion to the desktop version of OfficeTools.

Accessible on any mobile device, the app puts the power of OfficeTools at users’ fingertips. With the app, users can log time as they make calls in transit, launch all business-critical communications with the Contacts feature, and view upcoming activities and appointments. The app also enables users to add notes and syncs with the user’s OfficeTools database every 10 minutes.

Security is always paramount in everything AbacusNext does, and the increased functionality of the mobile app hasn’t come at the cost of data protection. “The OfficeTools Mobile App transmits all data from the client’s environment to the mobile app via a secure encrypted connection. This means that no one can eavesdrop on your data while in transit,” said Jerome Fodor, AbacusNext CTO. “In addition, the app’s data is encrypted at rest on each client’s smartphone and cannot be accessed without authorized client credentials.”

The app is compatible with on-prem and cloud-hosted installations of OfficeTools, and it is currently available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
