Credenza Pro takes document management to a new level in Outlook. If you are sharing with other users and your Team ever needs to refer to the same documents on a File, you will love what Credenza can do for you. With Credenza Pro you can organize your documents by File, and open them right from within Outlook. When working in a Team you can share these documents, so that everyone has access to the same up-to-date documents, even if you are working from offices in different cities.
You can do this in two different ways, depending on how your office works. And of course every Team member can also keep their own documents on a File on their local hard drive.
Network documents reside on the firm’s server and are accessible to all users as long as they have access to the server. This is ideal if you already store your firm documents in a central repository that you wish to be able to access through Credenza.
When you enable the Team feature, you can also choose to turn on Web Documents for your Files. The web documents folder allows you to save documents to a folder in an online cloud storage so that everyone on your Team sees the most up-to-date version of your relevant documents at all times, no matter where they are. This is a great way to share documents with your colleagues without having to deal with email attachments.
Credenza Pro even makes it easy to save documents to your Web documents folders while you work. Let's say you are ready to save that memo you just finished drafting in Word. In the save window, you'll see Credenza Web Documents listed as a Favorite, and you can then choose to save the memo to the appropriate File from the list. The document will automatically be accessible to anyone else who is working on the File. A real time-saver as you collaborate with other Credenza Pro users.
