Boston Accountex 2017

Foodies and history buffs rejoice! AccountexUSA is in Boston this year and there is an endless list of things to do and see. We’ve narrowed down the list to share some of our top recommendations:

Best Things To Do in Boston During Accountex

Boston Public Market

This year-round indoor market is your one stop shop for any New England cravings you may have. Get your fix of lobster rolls and clam chowder here! With fair prices and a range of different vendors this is a must-see spot.

Acorn Street

Located in Beacon Hill, Acorn Street is the oldest street in Boston. The cobble stone street is lined with moss covered bricks, rows of red brick houses could not be more photogenic. As you look around the street it’s hard not to wonder what life was like living on Acorn Street all those hundreds of years ago.

Lucky’s Lounge

In a city full of history, transport back to the Prohibition Era and grab a cocktail at this speakeasy. Lucky’s Lounge is on Congress St., between A St. and Pittsburgh St. just off the Waterfront and Court House Station. The official address is 355 Congress St., Boston, MA 02210

Waterfront

What was once the scene of the Boston Tea Party is now a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. If you have time, catch a waterfront cruise!

Newbury Street

If you’re itching to get some shopping in, Newbury Street is your spot! Nicknamed the Rodeo Drive of Boston, you could spend hours exploring all of the restaurants and boutiques. Newbury Street stretches about a mile long and ends at the Boston Common, so it’s a great way to get some shopping, sight-seeing, and exercise in!

Top of the Hub

If you’re looking for dinner with a view look no further than Top of the Hub! Enjoy cocktails or dinner with a 360-degree view of Boston. Come for happy hour and watch the city light up as the sun goes down.

Honorable Mentions:

  • Omni Parker Hotel- Indulge yourself in a slice of Boston Cream Pie at the Omni Parker Hotel restaurant, some things are just worth the calories.
  • Harvard- Roam around one of our nation’s top universities and reminisce on your college days.
  • Copley Square- Copley Square is a cultural hub stop in Boston, home to some of the city’s best architecture and restaurants.
