Gartner Symposium/ITXpo 2012

Gartner bills its flagship event, Symposium/ITxpo, as the largest gathering of CIOs in the world, and after having exhibited at the event last week in Orlando, Florida, I’d have to say I didn’t see anything that would cause me to think otherwise. Most visitors to our booth were at the VP-level or above, and we believe we made multiple, valuable contacts on several fronts.

Executives from government agencies, financial institutions, insurance providers, real estate developers, and a variety of other industries all visited the HotDocs booth and left with a heightened understanding of how their document generation processes could be improved.

Beyond potential customers, HotDocs established connections with multiple BPM and ECM vendors, all of whom could become valuable strategic alliances in the near future. The common refrain among such vendors is that HotDocs fills a critical gap in their product offerings.

We had sit-down meetings with some of the biggest name analysts in the BPM/ECM space, whom we were able to brief on our latest developments, as well as gain their insights and recommendations for strategic maneuvers and alliances.

All in all, it was a fast-paced, action-packed five days that confirmed everything we’ve come to believe: HotDocs has disruptive technology and is positioned for explosive growth.
