What is HotDocs Player?

HotDocs Playerlets you generate customized documentsfrom HotDocs templates that have been created by authorized HotDocs publishers.These publishers (LexisNexis and WestLaw, for example) make and sell ready-to-use templates for a variety of organizations. These are theonlytemplates that work inHotDocs Player.



HotDocs does not sell any pre-packaged templates or automated forms. Instead, we give you the tools you need to automate your own documents and turn them into HotDocs templates.HotDocs Playerdoes not allow you to design or use your own templates. If you wish to create your own templates, you’ll needHotDocs Developer.Developercan also be used to create documents from your templates, as canHotDocs User.



Just likeHotDocsUser,HotDocs Playerguides you through a question-and-answer interview to gather information and assembles a custom document based on your answers. You can then modify the document in your word processor if needed.
